Karen Wilson

With her Rottweiler, Roxie.

Karen Wilson is a Dog Trainer and Hoopers Instructor based in Liphook Hampshire.
As a child Karen was lucky growing up around family dogs and in her early teens was given the responsibility by her parents to train their Golden Labrador which she absolutely enjoyed. Her real journey into Dog Training started 7 years ago when she purchased the dog of her dreams, her Rottweiler.

For the first 5 years her time was spent enjoying various different training sessions with her such as Agility, Scent Work, General Obedience, Working Trials and Parkour Training which gave Karen a real insight into working with a strong minded and sometimes very stubborn girl.

Our experience
COURSES & qualifications

Being able to work with two well established trainers for the last few years has given Karen good hands on experience with a variety of breeds, problem solving techniques as not everything works for every dog. Good grounding work for puppies where those puppies can grow and move into more intermediate and advanced training classes, dogs with behavioural issues and general dog training incorporating agility work, Hoopers and some scent work. She continues to increase her knowledge and understanding of how dogs learn and will only train using positive reward force free training methods.

Haven’t you heard?

Karen offers a variety of classes with Puppy classes which are designed especially for giving your youngster the best start in life.

What is Hoopers I hear you say? An activity for dogs of any age and physical condition, combining a series of hoops, barrels and tunnels. Dogs and their handlers work together as a team to navigate the obstacles and most importantly, have fun with their dogs. Puppies of an early age can even do this fun activity as there is no jumping over obstacles. The bond that we have seen owners get back from their dogs by doing this is just heartwarming.
